Stuart Ramsey’s Turangga Farm have already bred and sold a Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner in Karuta Queen and will have a runner in the race this year following a stylish victory at Rosehill on Christmas Eve for Falconic, who was purchased from their 2016 draft by Kevin and Jenny Moses for $105,000.


Scoring a bold front running win at his first run back from a spell at Ascot on Wednesday was four year-old Al Maher gelding Key to Fame, a $30,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Aquanita Racing from the Turangga Farm draft.

Sent out favourite for the 1100 metre contest, the Simon Miller trained Key to Fame led throughout and fought on tenaciously to win by a neck.

With three wins and six placings from 14 starts, he has now won over $123,000 in prizemoney.


The 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sale at the Gold Coast from January 11 to 15 is the first major sale of the year and Turangga Farm will be taking a stunning draft of 11 youngsters north with the catalogue now online.

Kevin and Jenny Moses and their friends have had a lot of fun with Nicconi colt Niccolance, who was fourth in the 2016 Magic Millions 2YO Classic and has won over $250,000 in prizemoney.

They backed up to buy another Nicconi colt at Magic Millions last January and he duly won his 743 metre trial in good style.


A knockout winner of the Group I VRC Emirates Stakes back in 2004 for Stuart Ramsey’s Turangga Farm, high class mare Sky Cuddle featured at Rosehill on Saturday as the dam of exciting two year-old filly Champagne Cuddles, a stylish debut winner of the $150,000 Pierro Plate for two year-olds.

Prepared by Bjorn Baker, Champagne Cuddles won her only trial at Randwick on October 11 and was fit and ready to run.
