The Snitzel gelding broke his maiden at Kilmore on January 7 with an authoritative win and upped the ante again with this bold front running win over 1600 metres.


Four year-old Encosta de Lago gelding Professor Brian scored his second win at Kenilworth in South Africa on Saturday.

Trained by Joey Ramsden, Professor Brian scored by half a length over 1200 metres.

An $80,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Joey Ramsden/ Tawny Bloodstock from the Turangga draft, Professor Brian is one of three winners from Group III placed Eskaw, who died in 2014.


Turangga Farm are celebrating 100% clearance at the 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sale having sold all 11 yearlings offered for $1,710,000 at an average price of $155,455.

Ending a frustrating run of minor placings at Randwick with a well-deserved win on Monday was the Allan Kehoe five year-old Nadeem gelding Ice Bucket, a $36,000 Magic Millions Session Five purchase for Beamish Bloodstock from the Turanggga Farm draft.

Ice Bucket won the Benchmark 67 event over 1100 metres by a neck in a bold front running display and has now won six of 19 starts earning over $121,000 in prizemoney.


Turangga Farm can lay claim to having sold one of the all-time greats into Hong Kong in Champion Miler Able Friend and while promising four year-old My Darling may never quite reach those heights, he is a progressive horse for the John Size stable.

A $26,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Turangga Farm draft for John Thompson, Mossman gelding My Darling was sold into Hong Kong after winning his only trial at Randwick in December 2014.
